2014 ETSU Homecoming Schedule

Due to expected inclement weather on Saturday, November 1st, we are changing the location of the Homecoming Luncheon Under the Tent and reunions to provide you a more comfortable and enjoyable indoor setting. The new location of the Homecoming Luncheon will be the D. P. Culp Center Cave and patio for a fun-filled Saturday from 11am until 2pm.

Saturday, November 1
ETSU Fall Open House - 9:00 a.m.
High school students, transfer students and their families are invited to attend. Guests will be able to check in starting at 9 a.m. in the  D.P. Culp University Center, and then remain for an overview of the day’s activities and musical entertainment beginning at 9:45 a.m. Visitors can experience demonstrations, displays and conversations with faculty members and representatives from housing, financial aid, admissions and academic departments. Homecoming 5K Run - 9:00 a.m.
The Homecoming 5K Run is hosted by ETSU Libraries and Campus Recreation. The Start/Finish line will be located at the ETSU CPA. The run cost $20 for adults and $15 for students. To register click here of call 423-439-4365 for more information. 

SGA Alumni Reunion - 10:00 a.m.
The SGA Alumni Reunion is open to anyone who has ever served as a Senator, Executive or Judicial branch member of the Student Government Association at ETSU.  The reception will be held in the Reece Museum. Hosted by SGA and the Division of Student Affairs. ETSU Homecoming Luncheon Under the Tent/Tailgate - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Inclement weather location: D. P. Culp Center Cave and patio
Come for the fun and Buccaneer Spirit. Meet ETSU’s coaches, cheerleaders and athletes and enjoy kid-friendly activities such as inflatables and photos with Bucky! Be sure to check in at the Alumni Pavilion for a free gift if you are a member of a reunion class (1974, 1984, 1994 & 2004)! The menu includes grilled chicken, barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, grilled veggie burgers, corn on the cob, baked beans, cole slaw, assorted drinks, cookies and brownies for dessert. After the ETSU Homecoming Luncheon, come to the ETSU Women's Homecoming Basketball Game. Former players will be recognized at halftime. Reception following the game. Football: ETSU Blue & Gold Game - 3:00 p.m.
Come cheer on your team as they prepare for kickoff next season. The Homecoming ETSU Blue & Gold scrimmage game will take place at the Intramural Fields. Kickoff is 3:00 p.m. 

Quillen College of Medicine 40th Anniversary Gala - 6:30 p.m.
The gala will be held at the Millennium Centre. The cost of the tickets is $50. RSVP to qcomalumnisociety@etsu.edu by October 24.

ETSU Homecoming Volleyball Game - 7:00 p.m.
Come out and support the ETSU Volleyball Team as they face off against UT Chattanooga.
 The game will be held at Brooks Gym. Students get in free with ID.

Astronomical Observatory Open House - 8:00 p.m.
The Astronomical Observatory on campus will be open to the public and telescopes will be set up for viewing of Astronomical objects. ETSU Astronomer Dr. Donald Luttermoser will give a short talk entitled 'UFOs and Life in the Universe'. The Open House will be canceled if the sky is cloudy.
